Overview

The Developer Rating is a composite index expressed as a percentage (1–100%) used to rank all master developers registered in Dubai. It provides a quick, standardized way to compare company performance across the market.

Definition

Developer Rating measures a firm’s overall market effectiveness by combining:

  • Portfolio Size

Total number of projects (Off-Plan and existing)

  • Project Status Mix

Weighting of completed, active, and planned projects

  • Growth Dynamics

Recent additions and project completion trends

All data are sourced from the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and updated regularly.

Calculation Methodology

The rating is calculated as follows:

  1. Aggregate each developer’s project counts, grouped by status.
  2. Apply weighting factors to emphasize completed and recently initiated projects.
  3. Normalize the weighted sum to a 0–100% scale against the top-performing firm.

The resulting percentage reflects relative market leadership and growth momentum.
